Dudley Jones, BPGA & CPGA
Dudley Jones, BPGA & CPGA
A longtime member of the CPGA, Dudley passed away on November 20th, 2007. He wanted his many friends and students to know - he birdied the last three holes! Susan, Nathan, Nicholas and Pete invited friends for a celebration of Dudley's life on Thursday, November 22nd at the Lambton Golf & Country Club. Dudley was one of the lucky ones - he got to live his passion every day of his life! Dudley was respected and revered for his skill as a golf professional and teaching coach. His proudest accomplishment, however, was being Nathan and Nicholas' Dad! Dudley will be greatly missed by many - he was just sorry he was unable to complete his goal: to fix all the golf swings that so desperately needed to be fixed! Thank you to UFCW Canada National President Wayne Hanley, Executive Assistant David W. Watts, and their staff for all their support, which allowed our family to take this journey together. To our family and friends, thank you for your unconditional love and support. A special thank you to the Hebor family for embracing and supporting Nicholas through this long journey. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Weston Minor Hockey Club. Dudley was famous for his signs and scoreboards - he felt the kids of the Weston Minor Hockey Club and the Weston Dodgers Hockey Club deserved the best! Donations may also be made to the Ian Anderson House - truly, Heaven on Earth, and a place that proves Angels do exist. The staff and volunteers took great care of Dudley and his family during a difficult time and they deserve to be recognized for their compassion and incredible support.
